
Community outreach and education is a large part of the mission and continuing goals at Sunrise to Sunset. We believe knowledge is power. We strongly value our place in the community to provide educational opportunities.
We are look forward to connecting with local aging communities, nursing homes and resident care facilities, church and worship groups, medical professionals, hospice and palliative care organizations and other agencies interesting in helping open up dialogue around death and dying.
NEWS JUST IN! Starting in January 2020, Sunrise to Sunset, will be providing volunteer care and services in conjunction with the Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County, NC. We’re very excited to be networking with this organization!

Death Cafe chats held monthly in the WEST Lake Norman community area. These gatherings are open to ANYONE interested in discussing and/or learning more about end-of-life planning, aging, laws, rights, and honest conversations around death and dying topics. These groups are free and all are welcomed to attend- participate in one or come every month! Our goal is to NORMALIZE conversations around DEATH and DYING. #letstalkaboutit
