Community Outreach and Death Cafes

Community outreach and education are a large part of the mission and continuing goals at Sunrise to Sunset. We believe knowledge is power. We prioritize our role in providing compassionate death-education opportunities to our community.

We look forward to connecting with local aging communities, nursing homes and resident care facilities, church and worship groups, medical professionals, hospice and palliative care organizations, and other agencies interested in helping open up dialogue around death and dying.

Death Cafe chats are held monthly on the third Wednesday. These gatherings are open to ANYONE interested in discussing and/or learning more about end-of-life planning, aging, laws, rights, and honest conversations around death and dying topics. These groups are free and all are welcome to attend- participate in one or come every month! Our goal is to NORMALIZE conversations around DEATH and DYING. #letstalkaboutit
